Monoi de Tahiti

Monoi de tahiti is made in a traditional way in the coral atolls of French Polynesia, by soaking gardenia blossoms in pure rich coconut oil, producing a very special product, with soothing properties. This beautifully scented oil has been traditionally used to moisturise and protect hair and skin. Solid at normal room temperature, it melts on contact with the skin or at temperatures over 23 degrees. In very warm summer weather, the product is liquid. Tree-harvest's Monois are authentic and have the AOC stamp, guaranteeing the quality of its manufacturing process and of the selection and authenticity of its Polynesian ingredients. MONOI means 'Sweet scented Oil' in Reo-Maohi, the ancient language of the Polynesians.
