Clary Sage Hydrolat, from

Clary sage hydrolat is the aromatic water left over after steam-distilling the flowering tops of the clary sage plant ( Salvia sclarea ) to produce the essential oil. As it is gentler than the essential oil, it can be used directly on the skin to balance oil/combination skin, or to soothe irritation as it is mildly anti-inflammatory. It can be used as a facial mist to reduce redness in hot weather.

Clary sage is calming, grounding and mood-lifting.

It has a delicate herbal aroma — pleasant, grounding, and subtle with hay-like undertones.
