Cacao Paste (Liquor), Organic Peruvian Criolla, small pieces for hot chocolate

Cacao paste can be heated with water or milk and whisked to mix to make a delicious hot chocolate drink which has many health benefits. This can be drank as is, or sweetened with natural products such as Tree-Harvest Organic Agave Syrup.

This high quality makes this cacao suitable to be used in cacao ceremonies.

All of our Organic Cacao products at Tree-Harvest are ethically sourced from Peru. The Criolla variety we stock is a very ancient variety, producing a high quality product with fine flavours and aromas, while maintaining the natural purity through the processing methods.

Cacao provides many health benefits and is very high in anti-oxidants. Cacao is also high in magnesium which is suggested to support heart and bone health.

Cacao is thought to promote mood, boost energy and improve focus. This has been suggested to be due to Cacao containing theobromine which can stimulate the central nervous system and cardiovascular system.
